The pivot from cleaning to marketing
Their first business idea was a residential cleaning company. It did not take long to see that scrubbing floors would eat all their time with no real leverage. By October they switched to digital marketing, fast web builds, and helping local businesses win online.

In April, Slate signed its first website build. Late May brought the first ad campaigns, with copy and targeting refined every week.

More than 25 local businesses served and a 5.0 rating from 14 verified Google reviews in just over four months. Jack runs strategy and web builds while finishing his degree online. Daxton leads client relations and Cincinnati growth while competing at Bellarmine.
